Meet new people

My name is James and I’m a full time driver based in Galashiels. The best thing about my job is meeting new people and being able to support my kids. I used to work as a mechanic in St Boswells, so this definitely a change for me. Something you don’t know about me? I’m interested in trains!

Enjoy new challenges

I’m Warren and I’m a full time engineer with Borders Buses. I’ve always been a mechanic, starting out as an apprentice and then working across different industries. Before I became a PCV mechanic I was a mechanic in an agricultural firm. I do different things every day in work and I enjoy being presented with new challenges. My job is well paid and allows me to have a good life. I have my own house and can look after my family. My working hours allow me to socialise with friends at night and do snow sports which I enjoy. Something you didn’t know about me? I worked in America in a circus as a catcher for the trapeze!

My name is Emma and I’m a part time bus driver. I’ve been driving buses since I was 21 – over 15 years! I enjoy driving and I like to get out and about and see new places. My job is perfect as it fits in with my partner’s hours. He’s a Borders Buses driver too! This means we have great childcare arrangements. Something not everyone knows about me is that I LOVE Disney!
